Before few months there was election held in India. In those days media made a big issue that the voting was less because young generation is not votting, enjoying as an holiday, etc.
As I'm one of them, I personally feel that it is not true, though the average percentage of voting is 50. I know my responsibilities very well, I want to vote but tell me, one person who is having clean background or any one who is really doing something for society(social work)? The answer is NO. So why should I give the vote?
I'm not saying that helding elections are wrong but the process is wrong.....
any politician don't want to change process because everyone wants to come in power.
What i feel is, in the voting list there should be option NONE OF ABOVE & if same will be result then all those candidates who lost, they should not have the right to stand again in elections(at least in that area). It will happen that elections will be held twice or more, but at least we will get someone who will work for society. The cost of elections will more but it will be only 4 to 5 times & if current process is continued then also these politicians are going to take all money in their pockets, that's why changing process will be beneficial for society. If the process was changed then definitely one day the PERCENTAGE OF VOTTING WILL BE 100.
JAI HIND.
